Fleamarket Gardens Magazine
We had many visitors come to the store to meet me and talk about the gardens at the Calhoun House in Perry, Florida. A couple from Michigan came in today to ask me what did the garden look like before I moved in ? I did not have any pictures to show them so I decided to write about the restoration and the designing of the House and Garden. Each day I will show you before and after pictures Of the Calhoun House and the grounds. The first picture is a before shot of where I would build Fish pond and waterfall.

Fleamarket Gardens Magazine
If you love to garden or just love to plant things and use odd things , or found objects than I suggest you buy this magazine. There are alot of fun and creative ideas in this magazine, not to mention our very own garden in Perry Florida is in this magazine! We recieved a phone from some friends in south florida they were looking through the gardening magazines in CVS Pharmacy and there we were, they were very excited for us. My wife went to Walmart here in Perry and found the magazine, there is eight pages just on our garden. I love our house it is a very special place filled with love from the Calhoun Family that built it back in the 1900's each room was carefully planned for thier 11 children. Can you believe it we moved here because of this house and what I envisioned I could do with the house and the surrounding grounds. It has been alot of work but as the garden ages it is filling in and the moss is growing on the brick pathways and the vines are now starting to climb over the arbors and the plain fencing that surrounds the property. The name of the magazine is Fleamarket Gardens in case anyone wants to look for it . It is a little bit pricey but it is filled with wonderful ideas and very little advertising.
